Job Description

As a Home Health Aide in Cape Town, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and ensure that clients' needs are met with kindness and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with physical therapy exercises as directed.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Assist with mobility and personal transportation needs.
• Document and report any concerns or changes in client health.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred

Experience

• Experience with elderly clients is a plus

• Medication Management
• Home Safety Assessment

Certifications

• CPR Certification
• Certificate in Caregiving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
• Experience with palliative care: Knowledge and experience in providing care for clients with terminal illnesses.
