Job Description

We are in search of a proactive IT Support Technician to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support and maintenance for all IT systems, ensuring smooth operations for our staff and clients. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up workstations, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage service desk operations to resolve support issues promptly.
  • Provide recommendations for hardware and software purchases.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and user manuals.
  • Facilitate communication between users and IT management.
  • Identify trends in support requests and suggest improvements.
  • Participate in IT projects and contribute to the development of new solutions.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or a related role
