Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Operator to manage our fleet of tractors and heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will have a background in agricultural operations and maintain our equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractors and implements during field activities.
• Perform regular checks and maintenance of equipment to reduce downtime.
• Ensure all operations align with farming schedules and deadlines.
• Assist with the implementation of new technologies in farming practices.
• Work closely with supervisors to optimize field operations.
• Document equipment performance data for analysis.
• Participate in developing sustainable farming practices.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Agricultural Management or related field

Experience

• Experience with drones and modern agricultural technology is beneficial

Certifications

• Forklift Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
