Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Material Scientist to develop and implement innovative material solutions for our aerospace applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in material science, mechanical properties, and aerospace testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze emerging materials technologies suitable for aerospace applications.
• Develop methodologies for testing and assessing material properties.
• Work with design engineers to recommend suitable materials for products.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Review and interpret technical literature for new material innovations.
• Communicate findings with relevant teams to facilitate material integration.
• Conduct failure analysis to enhance material performance.
• Document research findings for internal and external use.
• Lead workshops and training sessions on material innovations.
• Contribute to patent applications and research publications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in materials engineering, focusing on aerospace applications.
