Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Marine Mechanic to join our dedicated team. As a Marine Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing boats, yachts, and other marine vessels. Your expertise will ensure the optimal performance and safety of our clients' vessels.

Responsibilities

• Assess and repair various mechanical and electrical systems in marine vessels.
• Conduct thorough examinations of boats before and after service.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve service efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes.
• Stay updated on new technologies and marine repair techniques.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition.
• Document all repairs and services performed accurately.
• Conduct safety checks and tests post-repair to ensure vessel integrity.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma or degree in Marine Engineering or related field
• Further trade certifications are beneficial

Experience

• 3-7 years of hands-on experience with marine mechanics
