Environmental Engineering Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Engineering Technologist to provide vital technical support to our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting with the design and development of various engineering projects, as well as conducting tests and experiments on new materials.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects by providing technical data and analysis.
• Conduct field investigations and tests on new materials.
• Document findings and maintain comprehensive project files.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide feedback.
• Assist in training junior staff on technical processes.

Requirements

Education

• BTech or degree in Environmental Engineering
• Relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental engineering or related field

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks
• LabVIEW

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Adaptability

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Certification
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the manufacturing industry: Previous experience in supporting engineering teams in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices: Knowledge of current sustainability practices in engineering.
