Job Description

The Grinding, Lapping, Polishing, and Buffing Machine Tool Operator will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of grinding machines to shape metal workpieces. This role is key to ensuring high-quality production, requiring keen attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and tests of finished products for compliance with quality standards.
• Document production runs and maintain detailed logs of operations.
• Utilize measuring instruments to verify the dimensions of workpieces.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate production efforts.
• Implement improvements to machine operation processes for increased efficiency.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification in machine operation or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of grinding techniques
• Proficiency in measuring instruments

Languages

• English: Fluent
