Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through comprehensive testing and evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement quality assurance processes and methodologies.
• Collaborate with product management and development teams to understand application features.
• Utilize testing tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency.
• Review and provide feedback on project documentation to ensure clarity and completeness.
• Assist in defining and managing quality gates in the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in project retrospectives and continuously improve processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in software testing and quality assurance

Technical Skills

• Performance Testing

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
