We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful applicant will be involved in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems. You will collaborate with a diverse team to create innovative engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of new products.
• Perform stress and thermal analysis on mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with the quality assurance team to maintain standards.
• Facilitate meetings with clients to gather project requirements.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with mechanical designs.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and timelines.
• Document all design processes for future reference.
• Engage in training sessions for updated engineering software and tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional certifications such as PMP are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of direct mechanical engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Fluid Dynamics
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
