We are in search of a proactive Intellectual Property Compliance Officer to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of intellectual property laws and compliance procedures, ensuring all our operations align with legal standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with intellectual property regulations and standards.
• Conduct IP risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Guide and train employees on compliance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the legal team on IP enforcement actions.
• Maintain records and documentation related to IP compliance.
• Review contracts for compliance with IP laws.
• Monitor external developments in IP law affecting the business.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Intellectual Property Law or equivalent
• Master's degree is a plus

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
