Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Industrial Engineer to enhance our operations in Cape Town. In this role, you will analyse processes, implement innovative solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements to streamline operations.
• Lead process improvement workshops and training sessions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design efficient layouts.
• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency.
• Assist in project management and ensure projects are delivered on time.
• Provide technical support to production staff.
• Research and integrate advanced engineering technologies.
• Create and maintain documentation of processes and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in relevant industries

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
