We are on the lookout for a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and a passion for innovative design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative design solutions for various structural applications.
• Supervise construction teams and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Conduct analyses to determine the feasibility of projects.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree is an added advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in structural projects

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Matlab

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time Management

Certifications

• Associate Constructor (AC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with BIM methodologies: Hands-on experience with Building Information Modeling for project lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of local building codes: Familiarity with South African building regulations and compliance standards.
