Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will support clinical trials by coordinating tasks, managing study documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be an integral part of the research team, working closely with investigators and study participants.

Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination of clinical trials, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor trial progress and compliance.
  • Collaborate with local communities to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Provide direct support to investigators with data management and reporting.
  • Maintain comprehensive databases for tracking recruitment and follow-up.
  • Review and finalize study documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in the analysis of trial outcomes and reporting findings.
  • Assist in preparation of grant proposals and funding applications.
  • Organize and lead training workshops for research staff.
  • Ensure effective communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical trials coordination
