Job Description

We are on the lookout for a committed Veterinary Nurse to enhance our team in Cape Town. Responsibilities will include assisting in surgeries, performing examinations, and providing nursing care to animals, ensuring their well-being throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

• Aid in surgical procedures and ensure post-operative care.
• Recognize signs of distress or illness in animals.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Educate clients on preventative care and treatments.
• Assist in training junior veterinary staff or interns.
• Facilitate smooth operation of the clinic by coordinating with staff.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
