Greenwood Veterinary Clinic is seeking a qualified and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a commitment to animal welfare, and experience in a busy veterinary practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine health checks and surgical interventions.
• Engage with pet owners to provide guidance on preventative care.
• Work on various treatments, from routine checkups to complex surgeries.
• Mentor and guide junior veterinary staff and interns.
• Support community outreach initiatives to promote animal welfare.
• Stay updated with the latest veterinary practices and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
• Post-graduate qualifications in Veterinary Surgery is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a veterinary setting
