Job Description

As a Self-Enrichment Teacher (Choral Teacher), you will be responsible for instructing and directing choral groups, teaching students musical concepts, and fostering a love for singing. Your focus will be developing the vocal abilities of students in an engaging and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in choir performances and vocal exercises.
• Lead rehearsals and ensure efficient use of time.
• Coordinate music selections and prepare for performances.
• Utilize effective teaching methods to motivate and inspire students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate student vocal development.
• Collaborate with school administrators to plan events and concerts.
• Mentor students interested in pursuing advanced music studies.
• Facilitate workshops for skill enhancement and musical exploration.
• Document and report on student progress to music department heads.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field
• Master's degree in Music Education is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in choral instruction and music education
