Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Psychotherapist to join our passionate team in Cape Town. As a key player in our healthcare community, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic services to diverse patients, fostering a supportive and healing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver culturally competent psychotherapy to a diverse client population.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Conduct workshops and seminars to raise mental health awareness.
  • Provide crisis intervention and immediate support when needed.
  • Engage in self-care practices and promote mental health within the team.
  • Document and report any significant changes in client mental health status.
  • Measure therapeutic effectiveness through feedback and assessment tools.
  • Build rapport and trust with clients to create a safe therapeutic environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
  • Professional registration with the HPCSA required
Experience
  • Experience in group therapy and family counselling is beneficial
