Job Description

As a Petroleum Refinery Control Panel Operator, you will operate and monitor control panels and equipment in a petroleum refinery. Your primary responsibility involves overseeing the refining process to ensure safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monitoring and operation of DCS and SCADA systems within the refinery.
• Regularly review operational data, making timely adjustments to maximize efficiency.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks, ensuring equipment is in optimal condition.
• Assist in training new operators in control panel operations and safety procedures.
• Evaluate performance metrics and suggest improvements for processes.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to schedule downtime for repairs.
• Implement best practices for control panel operations and safety compliance.
• Engage in continuous learning regarding control panel technology and safety regulations.
• Provide detailed reports on operational performance to management.
• Assist in audits and compliance checks as required.

Requirements

Education

• Technical qualification in Engineering or Process Control

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in oil and gas operations or related field.

Technical Skills

• Process Simulation Software

• Hazardous Area Safety Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
