Job Description

A Tax Specialist is required to join our dedicated team in Pretoria. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax laws, preparing tax returns, and providing guidance on tax-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of South African tax regulations and exceptional analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial information and prepare tax returns.
• Advise clients on the potential tax impacts of business decisions.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients to understand their needs.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops on tax legislation changes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in tax compliance.
• Support the finance team with budget preparation including tax implications.
• Research tax issues and prepare written documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
• Postgraduate diploma in taxation or related area is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a tax-related field
