Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity practices, threat assessment, and risk management. You will be responsible for developing security protocols, providing security training to staff, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create security documentation for policies, practices, and standards.
• Perform regular security assessments and penetration testing.
• Develop incident response plans and conduct drills.
• Ensure compliance with local and international cybersecurity regulations.
• Facilitate discussions on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in cybersecurity consulting or advisory roles

Technical Skills

• Incident Response
• Firewalls and Security Protocols

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
