Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented UX Researcher to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will be integral in understanding user behavior and preferences to pave the way for designing and enhancing user experiences across our platforms. Your insights will directly influence product development and optimizations, ensuring user needs are met effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead user research initiatives to uncover user needs and pain points.
• Develop research plans that align with project timelines and goals.
• Synthesize findings into actionable insights that guide product development.
• Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions with stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the UX research process.
• Document research findings and methodologies for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Design, Psychology, or related disciplines

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX research or design

Technical Skills

• Qualitative and Quantitative Research
• Prototyping Tools

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working in Agile teams for iterative design processes.
• Experience with competitive analysis: Ability to analyze competitor products for insights and improvement.
