Job Description

We are seeking a talented Cardiovascular Technologist or EEG Technician to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in performing electroencephalograms and supporting physicians in diagnosing neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting EEG tests and ensuring the integrity of results.
  • Working closely with neurologists to assist in diagnoses.
  • Providing support and reassurance to patients undergoing tests.
  • Adhering to all health and safety protocols during procedures.
  • Participating in training for new team members and sharing knowledge.
  • Keeping abreast of new developments in EEG technology and procedures.
  • Engaging in professional development and attending relevant workshops.
  • Documenting detailed reports of EEG findings.
  • Implementing process improvements for better patient outcomes.
  • Facilitating communication between patients and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology preferred
  • Experience in specialized EEG procedures is a plus
Experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in a clinical EEG setting

Advantageous
