UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. In this role, you'll work closely with product managers and developers to conceptualize and design user-friendly interfaces that meet the needs of our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Develop user personas and user journey maps to guide design strategy.
• Utilize analytics to assess user behaviors and improve the user experience.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
• Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation.
• Mentor junior designers and facilitate workshops to inspire creativity within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Web Development, or related field
• Postgraduate diploma in UX/UI design is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in user experience design

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• HTML/CSS

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Interaction Design Foundation Certificate
• Google UX Design Professional Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience working within Agile frameworks and practices.
