UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. In this role, you'll work closely with product managers and developers to conceptualize and design user-friendly interfaces that meet the needs of our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Sketch and prototype new product features based on user needs and business goals.
• Implement usability testing to refine designs.
• Define and maintain a design system to create a streamlined design process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product functionality.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Web Development, or related field
• Postgraduate diploma in UX/UI design is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in user experience design

Certifications

• Interaction Design Foundation Certificate
• Google UX Design Professional Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with user testing methodologies: Familiarity with various user testing methods to enhance design outcomes.
• Proficiency in Mandarin or Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in additional languages can be a plus.
