Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to safeguard our systems and data. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience in managing security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Assess the organization's IT infrastructure for vulnerabilities.
• Oversee the deployment of security measures across systems.
• Provide recommendations to improve security processes.
• Coordinate with external security vendors and organizations.
• Participate in security compliance audits and promote best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or IT is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles

• Firewall Management
• Security Auditing

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Cloud Security: Knowledge of securing cloud environments and services.
• Penetration Testing Skills: Ability to perform ethical hacking and vulnerability assessments.
