Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Sand Slinger Operator to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will operate the sand slinger machine, ensuring the production of high-quality molds and cores for our metal foundry products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the sand slinger machine for efficient production.
• Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of the machine.
• Handle material mixing for optimal mold quality.
• Oversee the production process and troubleshoot any issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Participate in team meetings to enhance production efficiency.
• Document daily production and equipment performance.
• Work collaboratively with the quality control team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the foundry.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• Vocational training or certification in foundry operations preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating sand slinger machines.
