Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends and patterns, and communicate findings through detailed reports and visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Create comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Identify trends and patterns that may impact business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data collection and processes.
• Maintain and develop standard operating procedures for data analysis.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout analysis processes.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research.
• Participate in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies.
• Provide support in data-related projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Computer Science, or another relevant field
• Any relevant certifications are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a data-centric position

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with machine learning models: Familiarity with implementing machine learning models for improved forecasts.
