Job Description

We are searching for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services within the supply chain, coordinating logistics activities, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Establish shipment schedules and ensure timely dispatch.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline operations.
• Conduct regular analysis of logistics performance metrics.
• Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Resolve discrepancies between orders and inventory levels.
• Maintain relationships with logistics partners to ensure service excellence.
• Facilitate problem-solving for operational queries and challenges.
• Lead initiatives to reduce waste and improve sustainability in logistics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Postgraduate study in Logistics or Supply Chain is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software
• Data Analysis Tools

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• International Supply Chain Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
