Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in East London. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of IT systems and be adept at troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently. You will be responsible for providing support to both clients and internal staff, ensuring that all IT queries are resolved effectively.

Responsibilities

• Handle support tickets from inception to resolution in a timely manner.
• Provide remote and in-person support to internal staff.
• Assist with network configuration and support.
• Help in the evaluation and deployment of new IT solutions.
• Ensure proper inventory management of IT equipment.
• Respond to urgent IT issues outside normal working hours when necessary.
• Contribute to improving IT service delivery processes.
• Engage in professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in a corporate environment

• Active Directory

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Linux Systems: Ability to troubleshoot and configure Linux OS.
