Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our team in Johannesburg. This role involves providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients, diagnosing illnesses, and prescribing appropriate treatments. The successful candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong commitment to improving community health.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage chronic and acute health issues.
• Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
• Supervise and mentor junior clinicians and interns.
• Provide emergency care as required.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to health policy development within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Additional qualifications in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role or environment
