Automotive Technician

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with the ability to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections.
• Troubleshoot vehicle systems and components to determine malfunctions.
• Implement solutions for vehicle performance issues.
• Participate in workshops and continued education to stay abreast of automotive technologies.
• Assist with inventory management of parts and tools.

Requirements

Education

• N3 in Motor Mechanic or related field
• Additional qualifications in Vehicle Technology are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance

Technical Skills

• Brake Systems Knowledge
• Electrical Systems Troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Team Player

Certifications

• Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
• Technical Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Performance Tuning: Hands-on experience in modifying vehicle performance through tuning techniques.
• Knowledge of Aftermarket Accessories: Familiarity with the installation and service of aftermarket vehicle accessories.
