Job Description

As a Furnace Charger at Metal Works Ltd., you will play a vital role in the metal production process. You will be responsible for loading and operating furnaces to ensure optimal performance while adhering to safety protocols. Your attention to detail and ability to manage materials will significantly contribute to our production goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the loading of raw materials into the furnace.
• Regulate the temperature of the furnace for optimal operation.
• Perform daily checks and maintenance of the furnace system.
• Respond to and resolve any issues related to material loading.
• Work with quality assurance to ensure production standards are met.
• Assist in training new team members on furnace operations.
• Participate in safety audits and contribute to safety improvements.
• Document all processes and maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues alongside maintenance teams.
• Contribute to team meetings with suggestions for process improvements.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required.

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
