Job Description

We are actively seeking a qualified Mining Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining engineering and will be responsible for designing efficient and safe mining operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and oversee the implementation of mining projects.
• Evaluate site conditions and recommend remedial measures as needed.
• Collaborate with environmental specialists to ensure sustainable practices.
• Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers for material procurement.
• Facilitate communication between management and operational teams.
• Conduct regular training on safety and emergency response protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Environmental Engineering
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
