Job Description

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our team in Mbombela. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in structural design and be responsible for creating safe and efficient structures. You will collaborate with a diverse team on range of exciting projects in both public and private sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review engineering calculations and designs.
• Assess structural integrity and stability using engineering principles.
• Liaise with clients to discuss project requirements and progress.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects.
• Participate in team meetings to review project timelines and milestones.
• Provide expert advice and technical support to junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in structural projects

Technical Skills

• MS Project
• Reinforced Concrete Design

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with green building design: Knowledge of sustainable building practices and materials.
• Experience in project management: Hands-on experience in managing engineering projects.
