Job Description

Join our team as a Paper Reel Operator, where your primary responsibility will be operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical skills and be attentive to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate paper reel machines according to production specifications.
• Conduct quality checks during production and take corrective action when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of production quantities and machine performance.
• Identify and resolve any operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure product standards are met.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices at all times.
• Capably assist with logistics involving paper reel movement and storage.
• Provide feedback on equipment functionality and suggest improvements.
• Take part in team meetings to discuss performance and provide input for workflow enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical training in machinery operation is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
