Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights, providing support to business teams for decision-making processes, and contributing to our data-driven culture. You will work with large data sets, perform statistical analysis, and create reports to communicate findings effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover business insights.
  • Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms to enhance data analytics.
  • Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements based on data findings.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders and management in an understandable manner.
  • Work closely with IT to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Assist in training and guiding junior analysts in data best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis with a focus on business intelligence
