Veterinarian

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Veterinarian to help our clients ensure the best care for their animals. This role requires a mix of medical expertise and a passion for animal care. You will maintain accurate records while collaborating with a dedicated team focused on pet health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostics through examinations and lab tests.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgery.
• Manage health records ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Educate pet owners on nutrition, preventive care and wellness.
• Handle cases with compassion and professionalism.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in veterinary practice, preferably in a clinic setting.

• Certificates in veterinary acupuncture or chiropractic care: Preferred additional qualifications for holistic care.
