Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pretoria team. In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will work closely with doctors and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive treatment and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate nursing care following best practices and protocols.
  • Evaluate patient responses to interventions and modify treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff and trainees.
  • Implement infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment.
  • Engage in patient education regarding health and wellness issues.
  • Facilitate family meetings to discuss health care options and patient progress.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Document all care provided and changes in patient conditions promptly.
  • Stay updated on advancements in nursing practices and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing
  • Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
