As an Actuarial Analyst based in Johannesburg, you will utilize your analytical skills to evaluate and manage risk. Your responsibilities will include data analysis, model development, and providing insights that enhance our service offerings across client accounts. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong mathematical abilities and proficiency with actuarial software.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data structures to analyze financial trends.
• Provide technical support in actuarial software implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings.
• Maintain meticulous records of all analyses performed and methodologies used.
• Contribute to client presentations, showcasing actuarial insights and recommendations.
• Interface with auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
• Identify areas of improvement in data collection processes and suggest solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Master's degree in Actuarial Science or Business Analytics is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in actuarial roles
