We are seeking a Structural Engineering Analyst to join our team in Sandton. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and analyzing various structural projects. You will work closely with other engineers and project managers to provide innovative solutions and ensure the structural integrity of our designs.

Responsibilities

• Design structural elements ensuring safety and stability.
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Implement software-based solutions for effective engineering analysis.
• Conduct risk assessments related to structural designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering projects or analysis

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Structural Design Codes

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Teamwork

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Knowledge in sustainable building practices: Understanding green building design principles and certifications is a plus.
• Understanding of geotechnical engineering: Experience or knowledge in soil mechanics and foundation engineering.
