Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. This role involves designing, developing, and testing mechanical devices and systems, driving innovation, and ensuring high quality in all engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical engineering designs and drawings.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams for material selection.
• Implement quality control measures during manufacturing.
• Analyze project data to drive continuous improvement.
• Create presentations and reports for stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience

• Mechanical Design Principles

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CAD software: Knowledge of various CAD software tools besides AutoCAD.
• Project Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience leading engineering projects from concept to completion.
