The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing risk, evaluating insurance applications, and determining coverage solutions that meet client needs. Responsibilities

• Assess insurance applications and evaluate risks for client proposals.
• Determine coverage amounts and premiums based on risk assessment.
• Review claims and reports to ensure coverage rules are adhered to.
• Negotiate terms and agreements with policyholders.
• Collaborate with sales and client service teams to provide excellent customer service.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or Finance

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting, insurance, or risk assessment

Technical Skills

• Insurance Regulations
• Statistical Analysis

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with underwriting software: Experience with industry-standard underwriting applications.
• Knowledge of advanced risk modeling techniques: Ability to apply advanced analytical methods for risk evaluation.
