Job Description

As a Behavior Interventionist, you will work closely with students facing behavioral challenges in a supportive learning environment. You will implement tailored intervention strategies, helping students develop essential social and academic skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based behavioral strategies tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals in developing behavior plans.
• Track and analyze student behavior data to measure improvement.
• Assist in the development of classroom rules and behavior expectations.
• Provide direct support during classes to help manage student behaviors.
• Conduct workshops for staff on behavioral analysis and intervention.
• Keep accurate records of student interactions and interventions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree or higher is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within special education

Languages
