Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to lead major civil works projects here in Pretoria. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in structural design and construction management and will be expected to work closely with architects, contractors, and local authorities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design and implementation of civil engineering projects.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
• Ensure that all engineering work adheres to safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering professionals.
• Prepare reports and project documentation for stakeholders.
• Review project proposals and provide input on feasibility and design.
• Conduct cost estimation and propose budgets for projects.
• Oversee project timelines and make adjustments as necessary.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff.
