Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee our Johannesburg facility. In this role, you will manage all staff and logistics daily, ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse processes and systems. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of warehouse management systems and a passion for optimizing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehouse operations to meet operational goals.
• Supervise the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of goods.
• Ensure that all inventory is properly stored and documented.
• Enforce safety and quality controls to maintain standards.
• Lead training programs for new employees on warehouse procedures.
• Assess warehouse capacities and make recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate on inventory planning and forecasting activities.
• Manage the scheduling of staff shifts and workloads.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Advanced degree preferred

Experience

• 4-5 years of experience in a warehouse management role

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages
