Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceuticals and demonstrate a commitment to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medication reviews to promote health and safety.
• Advise on the selection, dosage, and administration of drugs.
• Educate patients and their families about medication management.
• Participate in health-related community programs.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or relevant field
• Postgraduate qualification advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in community or clinical pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Medication Management
• Clinical Assessments

• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Advanced Pharmacy Practice certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of medication therapy management: Understanding of MTM programs and their implementation.
• Research experience: Experience in conducting pharmacy-related research.
