Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Legal Advisor to join our fast-paced team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in contract law, compliance, and corporate governance. You will provide expert legal advice, draft contracts, and ensure adherence to laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations and drafting.
• Advise and provide training on compliance regulations.
• Evaluate regulatory issues affecting the company’s operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business objectives.
• Perform regular audits of company policies and procedures.
• Keep abreast of legal trends affecting the technology sector.
• Support the resolution of disputes, either through negotiation or litigation.
• Facilitate continuous legal education within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
• Postgraduate qualification in Commercial Law is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of legal experience in corporate or compliance sectors
