Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pet grooming services with attention to detail.
• Develop positive relationships with pets and their owners through friendly communication.
• Keep records of grooming services provided to each pet.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in the grooming salon.
• Understand and apply different grooming styles for various breeds.
• Assist in training junior staff on grooming techniques and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a grooming apprenticeship preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in pet grooming

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Handling
• Handling Anxious Pets

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Professional Groomer (CPG)
• Pet Behavior Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Grooming competitions: Participation in grooming competitions is a plus.
• Marketing skills: Experience in promoting grooming services or managing social media pages.
