Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to help guide business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Perform variance analysis and report findings to ensure accuracy of data.
• Create and maintain financial models to facilitate decision-making.
• Collaborate with other finance professionals to optimize financial reporting.
• Identify risks in financial processes and develop mitigation strategies.
• Create reports suitable for different levels of management and stakeholders.
• Support strategic initiatives that drive financial performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in financial management or analysis

Technical Skills

• Excel Proficiency
• SAP or ERP software experience

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with financial forecasting tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Anaplan or similar systems.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis: Strong knowledge of statistical tools and methodologies.
