Job Description

We are on the lookout for an AI Research Scientist to join our dynamic team in Pietermaritzburg. The successful candidate will be instrumental in advancing our AI and machine learning projects. You will be involved in research, algorithm design, and implementation of AI models that drive innovation across various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and test new AI methodologies for enhancing model performance.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects that leverage AI technology.
• Utilize programming skills to implement machine learning solutions.
• Document research processes and outcomes for reporting and analysis.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay at the forefront of AI advancement.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept AI applications.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field
• PhD is preferred but not mandatory

Experience

• 2+ years of industry experience in AI
