We are seeking a passionate Environmental Consultant to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and experience with environmental impact assessments. You will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on sustainable practices and compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop recommendations for clients to enhance sustainability.
• Assist with the design of projects that minimize environmental impacts.
• Provide training and guidance on environmental policies and practices.
• Lead site visits and evaluations.
• Compile and analyze data to assess environmental conditions.
• Participate in community engagement initiatives focusing on environmental awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering
• Master's degree in Environmental Management or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years in the environmental consulting field

Technical Skills

• Environmental assessment techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with GIS software: Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems for environmental mapping and analysis.
